FAQ
What is the difference between a 32 cells solar panel and a 36 cells solar panel?
The solar panel voltage of 32 cells is 16v, and the solar panel voltage of 36 cells is 18v.Compared to 18v solar panels, 16v solar panels do not perform as well as 18v solar panels in the morning and evening.
If your country has plenty of sunshine, then 16v solar panels can also achieve 18v performance.
Why did the title write 12V solar panels, and the product page wrote 18v solar panels?
Many customers will have a misunderstanding when choosing solar panels. They want to buy 12v solar panels to charge 12v batteries.
In fact, the voltage of the solar panel is affected by the light intensity.If the light is weak, the voltage of the solar panel will drop.
We set the solar panel voltage to 16v-18v to ensure that the solar panel still maintains enough voltage to charge the battery when the light is weak.
Why did I not get 100w in the actual test of the 100w solar panel I purchased?
The maximum power of this solar panel is 100w, the maximum is obtained in the laboratory.
Due to geographical constraints, most areas cannot get the maximum power of 100w.
So how do you test the maximum power of a solar panel in your-self area?
Wait for a sunny day, flatten the solar panels on the ground at 12 noon. Use a multimeter to test the metal sheets in the solar panel junction box, or directly test the MC4 connector.
