So, yes, this is indeed a 4TB SSD, verified by H2TESTW. For half the price of other drives with the same capacity. I can’t speak to longevity or quality as I have not had it long enough and this is my first drive, but so far it’s looking good. I plan to buy a few more and eventually replace the loud drives in my NAS with these. Hopefully prices continue to drop.
One big note: these are NOT fast drives. My write speeds on the 4TB was a MAX of 330 MB/sec (about half what SATA3 SSDs usually do) and this dropped as the drive filled up to a low of about 150. While this is slow by SATA SSD standards, even the slowest speed is about the same as an average SATA HDD, so if you are moving from that 1TB spinning disk in your laptop, this will still improve your system in every way.
