It does come in quite a few pieces and it does take a little while to put together especially if you are doing it alone but it is easy, and the outcome is worth it. You don’t need any extra tools, it comes with the Allen Key, and that’s all you need. Also you don’t need to buy a box spring with this bed, a thick and nice quality mattress will be fine. Definitely worth it.
